FAQS
How are our toys made? TOP
With encouragement from the Elves, a lot of time, and a
little patience.
What types of wood do you use? TOP
Pine, Maple, Cherry, Ash, Poplar, Mahogany,
Walnut, Purple heart, and Oak.
It depends on the product, and, use.
Most wooden toys are painted. Why don’t you paint them? TOP
Occasionally, we receive requests to paint or finish our products;
however, we realized from the start that we would not be able to control the
components. Product safety is the primary issue.
Parents can easily go to a craft
store research and find safe products. We
suggest making an evening with a child to finish a product that personalizes
and brings meaning to the gift. Your child will cherish the time you spend
together as much as the toy itself.
Are your toys mass produced? TOP
No, toys are
hand crafted in lots of 12 or less. Larger items are made one at a time.
Do you hand craft all of the toy parts? TOP
No, our wheels, axel pegs, and smaller components are purchased from wholesalers. As much as
we would like to manufacture every part, it is just too cost prohibitive.
